Mountain bike trails in Scotland
There are now many purpose built trail centres across Scotland. Not only is the World Cup Downhill run at the Nevis range, there is also the much easier Witches trail, catering for all abilities. Further east you can visit the Laggan Wolftracks centre.
We don’t have to travel north of Glasgow and Edinburgh to actually find what gr8trails believes are the best mountain biking trails in all of the UK. The ‘7stanes’ just across the Scottish Border offer the largest variety of mountain biking for your holiday.
You can experience guided technical downhill, ‘northshore’, big slabs, cross country loops or easy, rolling ‘blue’ routes. Our Scottish favourites are the centres clustered around Innerleithan and Dumfries, which we go back to time and time again.
